Agapanthus

Here’s a cheery flower to finish off my second week of daily posts. I managed to post a photograph each day but fell behind with the writing. Hope to do better next week.
Agapanthus are from South Africa, in an area with a similar climate to here, so they do very well here. Ours give a gorgeous display of blue and white flowers every summer, all borne majestically above the dense green strappy foliage. Lack of water doesn’t seem to bother them. So appreciated in our dry environment.
